The adventure continues - again with revamping the Saradan Group focus and websites! Offering services in consultation as well as an e-commerce store. Recently added two exciting updates: 1. Became an agent for ERTCExpress which helps businesses apply for the Employee Retention Tax Credit worth up to $26,000 per pandemic era employee. 2. Opened a new products website, www.onlinegiftsforher.com which has interesting items for direct shipment and links to vendors offering unique and/or personalized products. This new chapter follows my previous careers: US Army Transportation and School Bus (Pupil Transportation). Lots of ground has been covered including compressed natural gas powered and battery-electric powered school bus adventures! My last school transportation gig was with Alexandria City Public Schools, a small school division within Virginia with only 98 bus routes and significant issues. Had many adventures with the VAPT & local leadership while improving efficiency and being an early player in the Vehicle2Grid electric school bus project in concert with Dominion Energy of Virginia. My earlier move from Mansfield ISD Transportation Director to market development of CNG projects for stations and vehicle conversions was an obvious progression in that the compressed natural gas program needed to be expanded to other school districts and fleets throughout Texas and on into other areas of the Southeastern United States. My experience writing successful grant applications and actually designing and building two CNG refueling stations while operating a school bus fleet is a valuable asset offered to clients. This included the conversion of special needs buses from gasoline to CNG, the complete repower of transit school buses by replacing the DT466 engine with a re-engineered CNG Phoenix engine and fuel system, and the direct purchase of grant-funded CNG powered transit style school buses. My marketing firm, Saradan Group, provides the opportunity to influence fleet operators towards a low emission, sustainable operation. Many return-to-home-base fleets could convert from diesel or gasoline to clean-burning CNG fuel or, with help, to become a part of the local electrical grid. We are able to develop plans for the transition and for grant financing and to help provide services throughout the life of these vehicles.
