Developed and optimized expensive processing algorithms in C / C++. Managed embedded hardware in Verilog & embedded C with communications via USB & Serial. Leveraged SQLite for data storage and node.js for remote API calls.· Demonstrated a commitment to commercial grade software development. The Saphyr™ instrument, via ICS is a fully field supportable device with in process logging, automated / semi-automated recovery and self-test.· Managed the team resources, budget and timelines against company and department goals.· Continued to maintain technical excellence by directing and participating in the planning, attraction, selection, retention and development of talent through coaching and mentoring.· Close collaboration between multi-disciplinary teams from engineering, data access, biology and bioinformatics.· Release management supporting the instrument PC setup, configuration and security compliance.
