Lead a deployed HUMINT Company within a forward collection Battalion of 90 soldiers in support of 3rd U.S. Army, Coalition Land Component Command, Army Central, and U.S. Central Command. Along with normal interrogation operations in support of customers, the unit stood up the first Joint Interrogation and Debriefing Center in Afghanistan. Assisted in building design, construction, SCIF accreditation, installation of communications equipment and relocation of operations into the new facility. Liaison with other elements and establishment of planning teams enabled over 1000 detainees to be relocated within theater with only an 8 hour loss of operational interrogation activity.
