I manage a broad range of legal matters for Ørsted’s U.S. offshore wind business, primarily for the Sunrise Wind, Ocean Wind, and Bay State Wind projects. My responsibilities including drafting and negotiation of power purchase agreements and other commercial contracts, oversight of corporate affairs, negotiation and management of strategic partnerships and joint ventures, participation in energy regulatory proceedings, and environmental permitting. Before joining Ørsted, I worked in private practice. I was a Senior Associate in Norton Rose Fulbright's energy practice group, where I represented developers of large-scale energy infrastructure projects in obtaining regulatory approvals, environmental permits, and project financing, as well as in appellate litigation and other disputes. I also spent a year in Paul Weiss' litigation practice.Following a clerkship, I began my legal career in the Justice Department, where I represented the United States before the Federal Courts of Appeals in cases involving administrative, constitutional, criminal, environmental, and evidentiary legal issues.
