I am currently a junior at the University of Tennessee Knoxville majoring in businessmanagement. My best strength is my ability to be a leader. I have proven this quality best as the coach of a middle school flag football team. I was able to create an environment where the team could communicate with me as a peer but still with the respect of a head coach. I could effectively teach the team football and the more technical schemes I created for them. In addition to this, we were also very successful and competitive while maintaining a fun and social environment. Another one of my strengths is I always try to find a better way to do something. I have proved this with simple everyday tasks such as moving dirt but more specifically in the family business when I found a better way to order our merchandise. I made a spreadsheet of which sizes sold the most so we would order more of that merchandise and buy fewer itemsthat tended to stay on shelves longer. Thus, greatly cutting our cost in buying inventory whilestill maximizing sales.
