I have over 20 years of experience in health care. I have worked in Family Practice, Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Internal medicine, and currently work in Pain management. Highlights of my career include working for Mayo Clinic and participating in a pilot program that trained PA's and NP's to function independently in level 3 and level 4 rural Emergency facilities. I also spent a year in Africa starting a rural clinic, pharmacy, and maternity ward. I worked for a charity organization out of Fort Worth, Texas and was the Medical director in Africa. I managed the staff, recruited staff, formulated budgets, maintained inventory, saw patients in clinic, and delivered babies.
