Shipway Sailing provides a full service marine launching and hauling to Race instruction and boat tuning. Services include updating rigging systems and user friendly sailboat set-up. Aquinnah Sailing was founded to give local and summer kids the opportunity to learn water safety, rowing and sailing skills on Menemsha Pond.

Three day Clinic with RR of Sailing Classroom time and on the water racing and drills. Focus on updated rule changes, boat tuning/sail trim, refining starts, mark roundings and tactics. PowerPoint and video evaluation was utilized for individual improvements.

As Commodore my duties included every aspect of running a 'yacht club' including; posting race results, hearing protests, writing newspaper articles, manning the committee boat, setting marks, conducting ceremonies at regatta events and hosting members on the committee boat. Special attention was paid to encouraging youth participation.
