My career professional pathway has been and remains very diversified and multifaceted. It began approximately 35 years ago. I have an undergraduate degree in wildlife biology and a graduate degree in GIScience. I am well versed, to varying degrees, in disciplines such as civil, electrical, mechanical, and structural engineering applications; traditional drafting and computer-aided design (CAD); biology, environmental science, and natural resources; geographic information systems (GIS) and other geospatial technologies; environmental planning; project management; and higher education instruction. My core foundation centers on the geospatial and GIS realm, and has been in place for about a quarter-century now. I am a certified Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP). Nearly all project-related work I perform hinges on a combination of all-of-the-above, however. I am rather unique in that particular way. I manage projects, oversee environmental permitting, interface between all parties involved (including client and applicable agencies), and coordinate discipline-related efforts throughout a project lifecycle (i.e., biological, cultural, engineering, lands investigations, GIS). My specialty is fiber - long-haul, backbone fiber installation efforts, including feasibility, design/engineering, permitting, and construction compliance.
