In June of 2021, we began working on an MRP implementation that would provide forecasting and ordering signals while also performing the then manual level loading for production planning. I was responsible for all aspects of the implementation related to manufacturing. The project will effectively reduce our inventory by 20% or more while allowing us the ability to systematically see inventory projections for growth planning.

I was tasked with updating and documenting process conditions for all of the cold chamber die casting presses. I was also tasked with trying to implement SMED principles for faster changeovers of dies to increase productivity. I also evaluated warehouse storage space to try and optimize the available square footage and improve FIFO.
