Executive Officer - G3 Readiness Division
    Us Army 1998 - 2003
Duties as Executive Officer included supervising, reviewing, and daily mentoring of 13 civilian and military employees. Directed the monthly readiness planning culminating in quarterly classified presentations to the Deputy Commanding General (DCG). With decades of personnel readiness experience and after the events of September 11, 2001, I was responsible to help in the developing of Mobilization field guidance via Citizen Warrior Messages and was responsible to initiate the structure for the UOC Mobilization Division Cell orchestrating the assembling of key members of the USARC principal staff sections. I directed the assembly of methods of identifying specific SRCs as required for the different mobilization scenarios received from FORSCOM and HQDA. Through the use of numerous personnel system applications including SORTS, and the Total Army Personnel Data Base applications, I made available data in both a classified and unclassified mode. Making recommendations to the DCG and the numerous Crisis Action Teams on the selection of units we were prepared to deploy, enabled the USARC to fill FORSCOM unit Mobilization requirements. I developed the various methods of providing unclassified Personnel Readiness status of unitsand assisted in the development of the Classified Battle Book which proved to be a major research tool for identifying units for Mobilization. As a key advisor to the DCG, I coordinated more than 50 Readiness Review Seminars within a period of 4 years for major commands throughout the US and Puerto Rico. I helped manage the numerous readiness actions which resulting in a 5% increase in the minimum readiness status of Army Reserve units and a 3% increase in the minimum readiness status of priority Army Reserve units, culminating in managing actions which resulted in a 5% increase in the highest readiness status ever for Army Reserve Force Support Package high priority units.
