I have been working in the Green Energy Section for almost 2 years now. Currently I work for Global Dwelling located in Stone Ridge N.Y. as a Home Comfort Specialist and Sales Rep. I do a thorough 2-3 hour Home energy Audit and then provide the homeowner with solutions on how to close up their building envelope to make the home more comfortable and to save significantly on energy costs. This past year, 2022, I was awarded the Highest Sales Award for my company.Previuosly, I worked in public education for 21 years. My last employment was as a principal of Rondout Valley Junior High School, where I spent 8 years helping to increase student success with the implementation of various programs - Restorative Justice, Farm-to-School, various Mindfulness Practices, implementation of one-on-one devices for all students, as well as leading 300 students, 50 faculty and staff and communicating extensively with all stakeholders. This earned me the 2018 New York State Middle School Principal of the Year Award, where I had the honor of representing my school district at the U.S. Department of Education as well as the Education Department in Albany, N.Y.
