CrewBt Global Challenge 2000 Jun 2000 - Jul 2001Competed in the BT Global Challenge – I sailed over 30,000 miles round the world against the prevailing winds and tides, from East to West. A feat completed by fewer than 750 people. I raised £25,000 to take part in the 10 month race. I gained vast experience in leadership and management skills, living and working in some of the harshest environments in the world with 17 other people during the Challenge. I have presented to several groups and businesses on my experiences to share the leadership lessons I learnt. Personally, I use these lessons in business and everyday life.
