Reporting to Associate Director Engineering 613/705 areasOversee Ontario regulation 22/04. Ensure that all Joint use attachments on poles adhere to guidelines.Oversee Third Party Construction Contract.Preview sites and network drawing validation with engineers.Preview work with contractors.Contractor Safety ( Due Diligence for all Bell Aliant Affiliates )Provide subject matter information to engineers ( Third Party Contract )On site construction inspections.Arrange and manage tenders. Review and award tenders.Provide engineer with feedback when tenders should and should not be awarded bringing savings to the company ( $100,000 )Weekly One on One with contractors to review and monitor due dates.Attend monthly Board of Management Meetings.In Remote Areas where we have no contractor, sourced out and oversaw construction and provided a savings of $150,000 2004 managed 30+ Field Services Staff. From cable maintenance, business and central Offices teams.Reporting to Associate Director Field Services 613 Eastern Ontario First in Province to manage the largest multi functional team.Ensure team members are cognizant of meeting commitments to the customer.Provide timely feedback on company and individual results.Managed incidental absence ( lowest in the district )Managed overtime ( lowest in the district)PCE Performance Coaching Evolution. Used this tool to provide feedback and assist employees in improving team and individual results. Tool also improved management in spending time with staff.Highest results in the district for performance and time management.Ensure monthly health and safety modules completed and updates.Monthly updates with union steward.Face to Face meeting every morning with team.In early 2007 I was asked to further take on new challenges and grew my team by adding the Central Office teams in Brockville and Smiths Falls.
