Contract Management for College Food Service Operations. Originally American Food Management, whic was purchase by ServiceMaster LP. ServiceMaster LP Food Management Division divested after my departure. Was on the leading edge of companies Texas/New Mexico Frontier. Entire territory was build around positive recommendations from my accounts.Was given opportunity to run accounts as though they were my own business, which included creating new purveyor relationships. Excellent training for eventually owning/operating my own business

Wish I could be more positive, but was not fulfilled. Worked the proverbial Butt off, but needed more.Had car payments to make, and they said "yes". Ended up almost destroying the car in job related, but was never reimbursed

Was hire straight out of college to fast track through unit training, and then transition into Corporate Operations. York, owned by Pillsbury, was supposed to add 30 units in 1981, 50 units in 1982 etc, and was top heavy with Vice Presidents, Area Directors, etc.Pillsbury was going to fund this rapid expansion, but the bulk ofr their funds went to their favorite, Red Lobster instead.During 12 months I was there, York opened 1 unit and closed 1 unit.I was laid off along with 3/4 of their Vice Presidents & Area Directors. My Regional Vice President ended up purchasing the flagship store in Ohio a few years later.Put in 85 hours per week with York, and there were never any problems with my reviews; they simply imploded.
