I'm a conservation scientist and naturalist combining research and nature interpretation to change how we manage, protect, and relate to the natural world. My scientific research centers around understanding how our need for fresh water inevitably ties us to ecosystems and biodiversity and how we can manage those connections to protect people and wildlife in a changing world. As a nature communicator, I combine formal training in biology with over a decade of experience as a field naturalist, writer, and speaker to help others learn about the natural world and how it can help them solve problems in business and personal life. Learn more about my current research and experience at my website: www.vanreesconservation.com and via my Twitter feed: @Gulothoughts
