Our team provides a wholistic approach in protein production from concept to deliverables. We commonly produce protein deliverables in 1 to 20 milligram scales at purities of 90 to >99%, as per customer request. All protein characterization is completed in house from native- or SDS-PAGE, western blot analysis, nanodrop spectroscopy, endotoxin analysis, HPLC-MS and SEC-MALS. I have devised and executed optimization trials to improve difficult protein expression or purification, increasing protein yields upto 20-fold without affecting protein functionality.

I provide tutoring services from Elementary to Graduate level information in Biochemical Sciences. My services include course content digestion, presentation construction, thesis and PhD candidacy preparation, and scientific paper writing/editing. Plum pox virus is a disease that affects the production and development of infected host's fruit and appendages, respectively. This virus has the ability to be passed plant-to-plant by the use of an aphid vector, but only affects portions of the host at a time. By studying how the vector transports the virus, and how the virus affects the host specimen, it is theorized that one could decrease the spreading of the virus, and degradation of the host by identifying the key processes of the virus' transference. My job as a research assistant is to quantify and qualify the disease's virology and healthy specimens susceptibility to the virus by the constant exercise of sample collection, in vitro infection and mapping viral transferance by qPCR.
