Led the turnaround of a failing $120MM Structural Steel Contracting Company while continuing to profitably manage operations of a $50MM company. Organized an operations improvement team, recruited new management, and enabled the company to regain a reputation for effective performance, safe operations, productivity, reliability and profitability. Advanced a sheet metal and machining company from negative net worth and heavy debt burden to debt free with strong free cash flow in only four years.Start-up Experience. Took a moth-balled fabrication operation through re-start and into profitability in first 6 months of operations. Responsible for five of CMC's US Structural Operations: CMC South Carolina Steel, CMC Kilroy, CMC Cary Engineering, CMC Alamo Steel, and CMC Steel Products

General Manager of 200 Employee Steel Fabrication Facility. Concurrently managed the turnaround of a 400 employee fabrication facility and served as the Transition Manager for CMC's Acquisition of the assets of Bouras Industries with headquarters in NJ, and plants in NJ, PA, IL, and SC.

Vice President - Designed and assisted with code development for an estimating software system which increased accuracy and productivity of estimates. Developed bid follow-up and sales closure system. Created sales culture based on relationship selling resulting in over 90% repeat business. Opened and staffed a regional sales office to expand operations into a new market. Managed the shutdown and transfer of backlog from a sister plant during the recession of 1992.
