Currently work in my spare time as a volunteer and contractor for the San Diego Institute for Conservation Research as an engineer and wherever help is needed. I help to design systems, fabricate necessary technology, fly our custom UAS systems, work with the science teams to ensure our systems collect the right data, and aid any way I can in their conservation efforts for a variety of species. Founded, developed, and designed a project at Northrop Grumman for engineers to develop technology to aid in wildlife conservation with San Diego Zoo Global (SDZG). Coordinated a cross country, multi-site project with over 200 people involved. Coordinated and developed a collaboration between Northrop Grumman and SDZG.Coordinated two trips to Churchill Canada to test Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) for Polar Bear research and sea ice mapping.Modified UAS developed for arctic mission to be utilized in Panama in collaboration with Dr. James Sheppard (SDZG), The Smithsonian, and UC Davis. Lead on a collaboration between Northrop Grumman, SDZG, and Slingshot Aerospace, a startup working in data analytics and AI to apply machine learning tools to a conservation mission in Hawaii involving the Ala’la crow.

Aided on a variety of material and process qualifications, failure analysis, and research for Radio Frequency modules, semi-conductor wafer level manufacturing, and module test and validation.Developed software and hardware to test microelectronic components and processes.
