• Support new project quotation development activities as required• Maintain plant layout with up to date product line layouts• Investigate equipment for new business and continuous improvement opportunities• Support root cause analysis of failure found during development process or in production• Create, revise, maintain and check for delivery of 2D/3D system layout drawing packages, bills of material and process files• Troubleshoot problem areas and provide alternative solutions to resolve outstanding issues• Collect, interpret and coordinate provided information between Processing, Tool Design and Simulation into the system lay out process file• Complete on-site reviews of system layout installations at customer assembly plants and update 2D system layout drawing packages to reflect any revisions• Develop plant layout to improve process flow and minimize material handling• Develop and change AutoCAD drawings• Support Simulation in review of assembly process for optimization in robot and equipment placement, robot paths and installation materials• Support customer meetings to review system layout process files for revisions, approvals and assembly plant buy off• Review process and recommendations to improve efficiency through material savings, scrap reduction, material handling reduction and other methods
