I collaborated on the development of a $1.2M generator services business from the ground up. My responsibilities include creating a business plan, over reaching sales and operations strategy. We are currently on target for $2.5MM in 2016. To date I have designed & fabricated multiple pieces of specialty tooling in addition to handling sales, marketing, advertising, tooling, and manpower planning. I am accountable for all engineering needs of the division including test data analysis, validation of new test equipment, tooling design and procedure authoring.During my tenure I spearheaded market research and built a business plan for establishing a Saudi Arabia service center for generator rewinds and executed 65% of field projects from proposal to final report.I supported the integration of RTS into Fuji-Japan parent company and standardized and validated testing and repair procedures against factory processes of Japan.

I was responsible for the launch if ProTec Generator Services, monitoring all facets of daily operations which included client cultivation and solicitation, sales and marketing, tooling, and manpower planning, and cost and budget management as provider of generator testing and maintenance services. In the first year I drove $1.1MM in sales with one Generator Specialist and successfully handled field operations, tooling, and manpower and project execution.In addition I designed and fabricated multiple pieces of specialty tooling and executed 75% of field projects from proposal to final report.

I was recruited as Project manager to test, inspect, and repair generators from a wide range of OEM’s & vintages including, stator rewinds, end winding repairs, H.V. bushing replacement, stator re-wedging. In addition delivered engineering design analysis and support for new product development I was honored to be industry-recognized as an authority on Exciter inspection and overhaul.

I was responsible for driving the region's EHS and technical training compliance for all Generator Specialists. I ensured major project in the region was staffed with the appropriate resources and managed all aspects of planning, tracking, analysis, quarterly and annual reporting, and revenue recognition using sound business acumen.Over 7 years I led the transition of divisions from SAP to Costpoint/Deltek during Corporate Accounting system change and streamlined financial processes and introduced process improvements that enhanced productivity.I was presented with the 2008 Global Reward & Recognition Award for outstanding performance for filling Electrical and Mechanical TA roles simultaneously.

As the Generator Specialist I performed generator maintenance on projects in Europe, AIM, and Asia including, China, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, England, Spain, Germany, Indonesia, and Taiwan working primarily on Jeumont, Alstom, ABB, Elin generators.I served as a Lead Field Engineer in the Elin 9A5 generator failure Root Cause Analysis on China’s fleet of 24 Frame-9 / 9A5 air-cooled generators.

As Electrical Engineer I directed the installation of electrical wiring for control systems, low voltage, medium- and high voltage cabling and buswork; major test and inspection; stator Re-wedging and various stator repairs.I was the Electrical TA on 2 x 9e GT installation and commissioned Compressor skids, air inlet filter houses, fire protection systems, HVAC and other systems between 11/2005 and 02/2006 in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.I was responsible for delivering 2 x 9E Gas Turbine installations with Alstom generators between 07/2005 and 09/2005 in Kazakhstan and providing Rotor re-wedging for TEPCO 450 H generators in Futtsu, Japan between 03/2005 and 04/2005. In addition to my other responsibilities I was the Project Manager on 900 MW Westinghouse Fall 2005 at Arkansas Nuclear One.I was presented with the 2005 GE “Power Award” for developing a repair and testing procedure detailing how to repair and refurbish 3-MW, liquid cooled rectifier banks of 60’s vintage.

I was originally hired by GE to manage 3 x 6FA Gas Turbine installations of GE turbines driving Alstom Generators; handled client relationships, managed multiple concurrent projects throughout various stages of completion. I provided successful Installation and commissioning of UPS Batteries and chargers, various pumps and motors, AC & DC motor control centers, breakers and switchgear, Instrumentation and Sensors, transformers, fire-protection systems, and HVAC equipment.
