I am a Business Analysis, Manager with over 17 years of experience in business analysis and IT project management in the fund administration/trustee business.I am familiar with equities, fixed income and derivative products, familiar in fund operations, including trade interface, corporate actions, settlement, fund valuation, reconciliation, compliance monitoring and regulatory reporting, plus some TA knowledge.I lead a BA team, manage daily enhancements and operation support, work well with internal developers and vendors and have experience both in a waterfall and an agile approach.I specialize in designing data structure, data/system flow, function UI and conduct simulations to speed up project cycles. I have successfully delivered a 3-year finance and accounting system revamp project and also numerous enhancement projects, all with a very good track record.

I handle daily ORSO/MPF projects, contributed in a system revamp project to welcome MPF funds. During the testing and transition period, I designed various kinds of Excel tools using VBA and sophisticated formulas to verify system calculated results and help daily operations that otherwise would require substantial manual works and calculations.

I was hired for a clerical role in the Material Control Department, but shortly self-learned to double as a programmer. I rewrote over 50% of the functions of a material control system to remove bugs and add new functions. I built anew a cost control module to interface production data from mainland factories, compare the actual with the planned material usage and then generate management reports to help monitor and improve the production efficiency.
