Being a deckhand consisted of constantly assisting guests and making sure the boat was in pristene condition. I often had to drive guests around and entertain them while they shopped or sight-seed while other times I spent the entire day cleaning and re-cleaning the boat. In the off season due to my engineering background I was heavily involved with the repairs and maintenence of the boat while in the dry dock.

While Manager at Chabivin I was in charge of stock inventory, stock take, finances, paying of wages to employees, organising of social events to be held at the wine farm and entertaining the guests. I started working as a waitor at Chabivin in February and when the manager at the time quit in April the owner entrusted me with managing the wine farm.
