I believe my legacy is to leave the world a better place than I inherited. I’m not a believer or denier of climate change, what I am though is a concerned citizen.Since 2013 our charity Rural Aid raised $100m to support farmers and rural communities. This passion for agriculture still burns and now I’m putting my skills to developing a business that will span the world, plant trees and kelp to sequester carbon, support farmers in their path to regenerative agriculture and at the same time provide tens of millions of people around the world with an avenue to effect real change on our environment.Our first goal is to help sequester 9 Billion tonnes of carbon each year. Over $100m has been raised since the charity was first established back in 2015.Our corporate partners including Woolworths, Qantas, Caltex, Lionco, Toyota, Nine, and hundreds of others supported our initiatives designed to minimise the effects of these natural disasters. In addition hundreds of thousands of Australians shared our stories of farmers in need, shared our donation pages, supported us through workplaces and community fundraising events and shared our message amongst family and friends.Rural Aid and the Buy a Bale fodder program are now recognised names in all corners of Australia.It has been a pleasure and a joy to help establish and continue to grow this organisation. -

Over the years the campaign reached brand name recognition levels with everyday Australians. Started with the help of Ch7 Sunrise back in 2013, the campaign supported a number of other charities until my wife and I brought it into the charity we founded Rural Aid in 2015.During the national drought peak from Jan 2018 till Dec 2019, Australian companies large and small , Woolworths, Qantas, Caltex, Lion Beverages, Bunnings, Dominos and hundreds more supported fundraising campaigns. To this day it has the highest brand name recognition of any drought fundraising campaign and when people like Woolworths and Qantas call it the "Golden Egg" of campaigns, you know you've reached a point amongst other marketing campaigns few reach.
