Charles also served on the board of directors of Orange County United Way and California State University Fullerton Center for Leadership. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Boys & Girls Club of Central Coast, Team Kids, Inc and Orange County Habitat for Humanity (Habitat OC), where he has donated every roof installation since 2009.
