As a Project Manager with Municipal Group, I assist our client’s projects from the preliminary planning phase to project close-out phase. I will coordinate stakeholder meetings, public hearings, and open houses to ensure that projects are accomplished within the prescribed time frames and budgets.

Design: I managed a team to design, and administer capital improvement projects (CIP). The team also developed and implemented maintenance strategies for City infrastructure. Some of CIP projects include sidewalks, median islands, ADA curb ramps, traffic signal poles, and street lights. Maintenance included micro-surfacing, replacing traffic striping and signs, and pavement dig-outs. Procurement: I coordinated the bid/award, and contract preparation phase of a number of projects for the City of San Jose. I developed Council or Director Award Memos for approval. Construction Management: I was also the construction project manager for a number of projects including street reconstruction, storm and sanitary sewer construction, and pump station constructions. I monitored project budget, inspected work progress, and conducted final inspections to ensure contractor compliance with project Plans and Specifications. I coordinated with the utility companies, other government agencies, materials testing lab, inspections group, electrical group, and City's Department of Transportation to ensure successful project completion. I responded to RFIs, reviewed and approved change orders, reviewed and approved contractor pay letters, and helped to resolve construction challenges.

Assisted the Associate Engineer to plan, design, and administer capital improvement projects for the City of San Jose.

As a Consultant at LeighFisher with the Ground Transportation group, my activities included:1. Conducted traffic signal design and optimization for major US airports. Modeled, calibrated andanalyzed the traffic signals along a corridor for SFO airports Long Term Parking Garage 2 TrafficImpact Analysis. The traffic signal timing analysis provided the amount of green, yellow, and all redtimes for different phase movements. Different type of detector actuation were also analyzed.2. Conducted roadway and curbside capacity analysis LOS at several US major airports. Conducted LOSanalysis at EWR, SFO, and DTW airports to determine future capacity requirements, and to developmitigation measures. Analyzed a proposed flyover ramp at IAH airport and presented the client with thecost, benefits, and necessary issues to consider before building the ramp.3. Modeled roadway networks through VISSIM for a number of US airports. These models measuredtravel time, delay queue length, and vehicle miles traveled (VMT). The VISSIM modeling included theuse of the VISSIM COM Interface through Visual Basic Programming.4. Developed parking pricing models, and analyzed parking requirements for EWR, MDT, and ALB.These included forecasting capacity requirements, and identifying potential parking locations to meetparking demand deficits.I also worked on other projects that were not ground transportation related including: - Terminal modeling using CAST for San Francisco International Airport Terminal 3 project. - Airport gate modeling for Seattle Tacoma International Airport.

Involved in the design, supervision of Pump Intake Sump to connect canal for water conveyancethrough the main supply line system.3.
