I am a third-year student at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I am enrolled in the Haslam School of Business, and I am seeking a Bachelor of Science with a major in Finance and a collateral in Real Estate. One of strengths is that I'm an Activator and I have the mentality to get work done and to get it done right. During my position as a Receiver/Stocker at Lowe's this mentality set a good example for my co-workers, and it caused our departments efficiency to increase. Another strength of mine is that I embrace problems at the workplace, and I love solving them. During my time working for a residential home contracting company there was variety of tasks for each house. No house was the same and every job site is different. My problem-solving skills helped me dive into adversity headfirst and excel on the job site.My career aspirations are to work in the Finance industry with some of my focuses being Real Estate and Investment. I was inspired by my time working for the residential home contracting company and it was part of the reason I picked the major and collateral I have today. There are a variety of career possibilities in the career field of Finance that I find fascinating, from Banking to Real Estate Investment.
