Managed a team of 8 across 4 offices and 3 countries. In addition to the responsibilities listed below we also handle Production “dropbox” (yahoo tool for partners to upload data into Yahoo!), Yahoo! Redirect system, and corp “login” system.

Managed corporate mail routing, MTAs, and spamguard for yahoo-inc.com and several other external domains (>5M emails/day). Handled corp DNS, dhcp/vqpd, IMAP, and proxy servers. Rebuilt/rearchitected RSA/RADIUS infrastructure with zero user downtime. Wrote most of the automation used with RSA. Ensured Corp Unix systems were appropriately designed for BCP/DR; scheduled and implemented yearly fail-over tests. Handled Corp side of M&A. Was principle Corp liaison to Legal Dept. It-tier3 oncall (corp oncall of last resort). Wrote backup scripts for storage/backup team. Automated installation of Asterisk phone system. Responsible for corp. SOX compliance including documenting, clarifying, and instituting controls, and meeting with external auditors from PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PWC).

Tradebeam acquired Open Harbor assets. I joined Tradebeam temporarily to help facilitate the transition and add general technical advice and expertise.

Help design, build, and maintain complex, redundant N-tiered ASP system. Designed and drove through project to move all database file systems from local disk to network attached storage (NAS). Instrumental in moving production site to new co-location facility with minimal down-time. Led large scale Escrow project designed to keep customers running in the event of catastrophic Open Harbor closure. Managed and directed team of Open Harbor sysadmins.

Managed and directed the TechTV sysadmins, oracle administrators, and website as a whole. Reported to upper management.
