We are able to provide serious help to churches that are in crises or in decline.Here is just some of what Abiding Health Consulting does:• Assist the local church in doing a series of internal assessments looking at how well they are doing in meeting their goals, the five purposes, leadership and overall spiritual health.• Assess the church’s impact in the community to include their outreach capability and the community’s impression of the church. For the past 15 years I have worked off and on as a bi-vocational minister. While pastoring and working with churches I have also worked in hospitals as a Cardiac Monitor Tech. This job involves:• Primary role is to watch up to 24 patients on cardiac monitors looking for lethal dysrhythmia or changes in the patients baseline rhythm. Advising the Nurse of changes or calling a “Code Blue” as appropriate. • While answering all incoming calls and covering the hospital operator during off hours. • While directing family and visitors in the ICU.• Helping where possible as part of the ICU nursing team. • Preceptor / Training all new Monitor Techs. Teaching student nurses basic electrocardiology. • Admitting patients after hours.• Keep unit statistical data and reports for ICU and telemetry usage and appropriateness.
