He was instrumental in running a wide range of extra-curricular activities for his students, including training the English Ambassador Team, and preparing students for an interschool puppetry competition. In addition to his main duties, Charles also assisted with curriculum development across the three year groups he taught, Primary 4, 5 and 6. Outside of his school placement, Charles took advantage of other opportunities available within the Chatteris Graduate Development Programme. Charles volunteered his time to run English activities at the Heep Hong Society for students with Special Educational Needs, as well as leading lessons with early years learners as part of the Chatteris Kindergarten Programme. Charles also took the opportunity to complete a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) entitled ‘Education For All: Disability, Diversity & Inclusion’ to further develop his professional skills in a pedagogical context. Charles was an excellent and valued member of our team. He contributed greatly to the programme and I would highly recommend Charles for any position that he wishes to pursue."
