Charles is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Winterhawk Consulting responsible for overall company strategy, marketing, and SAP content and methodology development. He has over 20 years of experience:- implementing and upgrading financial and compliance software products (SAP GRC, BizRights, Virsa, SAP FICO, SAP BI), - leading large scale SAP Role Design projects, - leading SAP SoD remediation projects, - and designing comprehensive custom control monitoring (CCM) solutions enabling customers to systematically monitor Access Controls, Process Controls, and General Computing Controls in their SAP environments. Prior to founding Winterhawk, Charles was a co-founder and the Partner in charge of the SAP GRC practice at Sunera LLC. While at Sunera, Charles focused on: - assisting organizations with SAP GRC implementations (5.X to 10), - deploying global SAP Role designs,- remediating SoD issues in SAP environments, - developing custom SAP CCM solutions, - creating Sunera’s SAP GRC implementation methodologies and accelerators used to streamline SAP GRC projects, and- developing Sunera's pre-configured SAP role design.Prior to Sunera, Charles was a Manager at KPMG. His responsibility included delivering risk-based SAP services for the Southeast region of KPMG’s Information Risk Management practice. While at KPMG, he successfully led multiple SAP security and SoD remediation projects, SAP application controls assessments and SAP pre/post implementation reviews as well as led the development of the SAP SoD application used throughout the Southeast region.Charles is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), an Approva Certified Professional (ACP) and holds a Masters in Accountancy from Rider University.
