We use native plants, native shrubs, and trees in organically enriched soil, in tight density, providing the right elements for fast growth and high rates of survival. These forests attract and provide a habitat for a larger variety of animals, regenerate the soil and hold greater amounts of carbon.

Co-founded the concept and operated it from start up to a very successful multi-concept venue that became an institution for the Shanghai expat community. The mesa concept was comprised of Mesa restaurant, Manifesto bar & Mix catering and events in an old factory building located in the old French Concession, spread across 1,000 m2.

Planned and executed the expansion operation from Jakarta to Shanghai’s new location, a 2,500 m2 1930’s colonial mansion. This included hiring, training, sales & marketing and day-to-day operational management of the 3 different venues under one roof as GM. Grew the business from start-up to one of Shanghai’s hottest and successful venues.

Co-founded the concept, based on the success and over-flow from our other venue: Hazara & New Age Bar. Managed the day-to-day activities and the tough and turbulent transitional period of the Asian Financial Crisis and the final overthrow of the President Gen. Soeharto.
