Prior to founding Kingsgate, Charles practiced in the areas of residential real estate, commercial real estate, foreclosures, short-sales, non-real estate transactions (e.g. sale of a business) and complex real estate and lending transactions. Charles received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Baylor University in 1990 and then worked for Arthur Andersen, a Big Six public accounting firm. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Utah in 2001 and then practiced law at Alverson, Taylor, Mortensen, Nelson & Sanders in Las Vegas, Nevada. In 2004, LandAmerica hired Charles to start its Commonwealth Title brand in Nevada.Prior to Kingsgate, in 2007, Mr. Clawson founded Noble Title, one of the largest privately-owned title and escrow companies in Nevada. Charles is a licensed real estate broker-salesman in Nevada and a licensed real estate agent in Utah. He is a licensed attorney in Utah, Nevada, and New York and a licensed CPA in Texas, Utah, and Nevada.On a personal note, Charles enjoys spending time with his wife, M’Recia and their eight children. He especially enjoys travel adventures with the family. Charles’ hobbies include cars, running, reading and farming. He actively participates in the congregation of his church and donates many hours of volunteer time helping other people both locally and around the world. Most recently, his family traveled to India to help lepers in leper colonies.
