Current• Designed and implemented an automated order feed from our parent company into our manufacturing system. Gave the manufacturing floor visibility of the product build out process, while eliminating the need to re-key 136,000 orders.• Designed and implemented a shipping carrier label management system. Reduced computer system overloading occurrences from 40 to 0 during peak manufacturing periods. Increased peak manufacturing capacity from 25,000 units to 32,000 units. • Through technical analysis and rescheduling of batch processes, recovered $498,057 from credit card settlement process failures.• Trained customer service to respond and correct shipping label issues before the issues appeared on the manufacturing floor. Reduced last minute label related issues from 200 per holiday event to 3 per event. • Redesigned and developed the ‘gift card’ printing system to save $25,000 in annual renewal fees and provided for enhanced maintainability. • Designed, wrote and implemented software to enable a low-cost shipping solution. Shipping costs were reduced by 15%, saving $80,000 annually. • Designed and implemented a new professional looking shipping acknowledgement email for our customers. Customers now get useful links to package tracking information.
