I have worked both for IT Suppliers and Blue Chip IT organisations in retail, finance and beauty. This enables me to add value by negotiating and working effectively with IT suppliers prividing IT services to the business to ITIL standards.I have extensive programme and project management experience both implementing technology and also in restructuring IT and people in mergers and acquisitions; this is backed up with the business skills I gained from my MBA and ITIL qualifications.I have indepth IT Security skills following training at Barclays and as head of IT security al L'Oreal for 11 years.I was a contributor of the team that created the SFIA skills model which is now endorsed and used by the British Computer Society and I consulted with the MOD, West Yorkshire Police and Norwich Union on SFIA who have all adopted it. I use this extensively in resource management for projects.I am an effective quality and IT services manager having implemented ISO 9001 at Raven, used TQM at Computer Centre, Six Sigma at Woolworths, introduced ITIL qualification at L’Oreal in 2007 and qualified in ITIL at Barclays in 2011Following the death of my mother in 2008 I took a sabbatical in Jul 09 to enable me to care for my father who had dementia. During this time I qualified as an IT teacher ( PGCE) and gained full CRB security clearance.In 2010 I joined Barclays and managed service delivery of outsourced service including UK printer statement production, UK document digital imaging, and UK cheque clearing.
