Charles Davidson operated as VP and Senior Operations Manager of TRAUB Consumer, a business development and strategy consulting arm of Marvin Traub Associates that is focused on advising brands, retailers, distributors, brand developers and private equity in the food and beverage consumer sector. An accomplished industry operator, Mr. Davidson has a deep understanding of international logistical and operational aspects of brand development as well as a broad range of brand licensing and regulatory experience in the beverage alcohol sector. As a part of Marvin Traub Associates, Mr. Davidson was active in all aspects of the Consumer Food and Beverage landscape, to include executive search, strategic consulting and business development to M&A advisory in the food and beverage industries with domestic and international clients.

As Operations Manager for Drinks Americas, Inc., a publicly traded corporation, Mr. Davidson administered all critical programs associated with an international beverage wholesale and marketing firm. An integral member of a dynamic, highly experienced team of beverage professionals, he helped conceive, launch and distribute Trump Super Premium Vodka®, Newman’s Own® Lightly Sparkling Fruit Juices and Waters, Willie Nelson’s Old Whiskey River Bourbon®, Rheingold Beer, KAH Day of the Dead Tequila, and Kid Rock’s American Badass Beer™. He took a lead role in strategic preparation for each brand so that the products met the special branding needs of the associated celebrity and distributor partners, but more importantly met the goals of the corporation. As the COM, Mr. Davidson was responsible for all State and Federal Alcoholic Beverage Compliance, Licensing, TTB Interface (to include COLA, Laboratory Analysis and Formula Approval), FDA Management, Domestic and International Freight Procurement, Customs and Import Oversight, Inventory Control, Warehouse Management, Distributor Appointments, and Customer Service. Additionally he oversaw and executed operations regarding Trademark Registration, Intellectual Property Protocols, Internet Domain Setup and Maintenance, Corporate Communications (including Mobile, Web-based voice communications and E-mail), Investor Relations, Personnel, Point of Sale Procurement, Viral Marketing, and all special circumstances that involve Product Launch Events and Sponsorships.

Mr. Davidson served as Operations Manager for Sweet16 Intermedia, Inc., a multi-media marketing platform whose resources included high profile entertainment personalities, teen targeted magazines, concert promotions and sponsorships, as well as clothing lines. As the first employee recruited to the company, he managed the daily operations and administration at the corporate level. He reported to the President and COO and directly managed a team of 6, overseeing all company operations. Additionally, Mr. Davidson was involved in all aspects of Investor Relations, Project Administration and Interdepartmental Communications.He built the corporate infrastructure from the company’s inception which included the hiring of administrative staff, development in of human resources, corporate communications setup, and office layout. Mr. Davidson developed and implemented corporate identity, facilitated logistics and organized events, and served as a conduit to investors, clients and press. In the end, he organized the procurement of necessary documents integral to the sale of the company.

As National Customer Service and Operations Manager, he reported to the Sr. VP of Sales and was responsible for all order processing, shipping and customer service activities for this former $90 million beverage concern which was one of the top ten cold soft drink company’s in the United States. Of note, Mr. Davidson engineered a highly successful program that effectively raised the customer satisfaction level from 68% “below average” to +98% “great” rating within the first 6 months of service by implementing “sense of urgency” approach toward all accounts. He developed and implemented strategic cost saving plans based on a program of order error elimination that utilized cross referencing with historical customer database. Davidson also developed domestic and international freight strategies to ensure cost effective on time delivery. Additional responsibilities included event and meeting planning, sales team liaison, point of sale procurement and distribution, as well as holiday promotion on label program implementation.
