To make a long-time dream come to fruition, I embarked mid-2019 on a one-year journey across the world while managing the financial, strategic and B2B aspects of a large influencer's channels (Youtube - ~3M+ | Instagram ~500k+), increasing advertising sales, merchandising and membership fees. We travelled throughout South America, Europe, the Middle-East and Asia, funded by the revenues generated by our business.Aside from this travelling and work experience, I took a series of courses in Environmental Sciences, Sinology & China's position in a multi-polar world and Philosophy & Ethics at HarvardX and MITx.

After the acquisition of Brandfirst by Deloitte Consulting, I managed proposals and RFPs of the newly-independent unit, focusing primarily on the Public Sector. I specialized in dealing with the European Institutions (European Commission, European Parliament and European Council) and led multidisciplinary teams of 2-10 consultants and specialists to conceive proposals. Over the second year, I received extensive training in AGILE management and ran a modular squad of 5 FTEs on a long-haul project at the European Commission aiming at updating the institutions’ digital tools.Within the scope of my role, I closely collaborated on transversal projects with multiple Directorate Generals of the European Commission such as DIGIT, DG COMP, DG COMM, OIB, SECGEN, DGT, DG HR and DG BUDG.

Before its acquisition by Deloitte, Brandfirst was a global design and production agency conceiving custom, technology-driven interactive experiences for venues & brands. With technologies as diverse as gesture & facial recognition, augmented & virtual reality, touch & object recognition and much more, the start-up agency strived to push the frontiers of interactivity ever farther. As regional manager of the LATAM area, I opened and managed the South American branch from São Paulo, Brazil, after having conducted an exhaustive market study. Once established, I led regional sales, marketing, financial, legal, tax-related and accounting matters. My main achievements were to:- Coordinate sales and business initiatives through a network of 3+ sales representatives.- Overhaul Brandfirst’s communication strategy, updating its marketing tools to the local market's preferences and spearheading the revamp of its global branding.- Negotiated agreements and fostered relationships with key local actors to positively influence the attainment of goals, vision and strategy.- Gave lectures at large industry events (Marketing, DOOH, Belgian and EU Chamber of Commerce).- Designed and ran a booth at various regional Tradeshows - In cooperation with local partners or solo.- Contributed to various projects in the Middle-East, Asia and the Americas, from business development initiatives to on-site technical support.

Within the framework of my studies, I was involved in a consulting project aiming at streamlining the promotion system of the fabric care (Dash, Ariel, etc...) and home care (Mr Propre, Antikal, etc...) brands of P&G in Belgian Carrefour Supermarkets. I carried out exhaustive quantitative and qualitative analyses on large data sets to propose the implementation of specific recommendations to foster the efficiency of promotional initiatives.

As a partner support agent, I provided continuous support to partnering companies offering goods and services through Groupon's website.

As a means to fund my studies, I worked within Groupon's call center, primarily managing complaints or issues encountered by the company's customers in French, Flemish and English. I ended up being assigned with mostly difficult cases linked to particularly challenging (or simply worded, angry) clients. Through this period, I believe I profoundly enhanced my negotiation skills and resilience to pressure.

At Coca-Cola, I was involved in a Sensory Panel pertaining to the R&D department, contributing to the engineering of products, marketing and flavors best aligned with preferences of the local Belgian market. After a while I became responsible to mentor and guide some of the new recruits. Most notably, I was trained in the art of collaborating with a multicultural team through various teamwork classes.
