CurrentOffice of Civil Rights/EEO Programs-* Responsible for monitoring, program planning, evaluation and implementation of the Department of Human Resources’ and SFDPH’s Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Program. * Interpret and explain Federal, State, local laws and other EEO policies and procedures on EEO and related disability statutes in response to inquiries from departments, employees, applicants and the public.* Review, evaluate and process Citywide/Department Reasonable Accommodation requests in compliance with Federal, State and local laws.* Respond to discrimination complaints filed with State and Federal agencies.* Participate in depositions and legal proceedings in coordination with City Attorney’s office. * Present information before commissions, boards, agencies and the public.HR Operations-* Supported the largest department(10K+ employees) in the county, which spans across Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center, Laguna Honda Hospital, Rehabilitation Center, 15 primary care health centers, and vaccination sites.* Provide consultation and HR guidance to key stakeholders, which includes management, employees, union representatives, the Mayor’s Budget Office, the City Controller, and the City’s Department of Human Resources. Responsible for interpreting and applying San Francisco’s Civil Service Rules, department policies, Memorandum of Understanding (MOU’s), and labor laws from county, state, and federal level. Advocate for the City’s Merit- based hiring and recruiting while implementing DEIB program.* Hired critical personnel to support the CCSF Covid Response by staffing Covid Command Center, Vaccination sites, Zuckerberg General Hospital, Laguna Honda Hospital, and various clinics across the county.
