As one of the investment managers of this fund, my responsibilities covered the whole life-cycle from analysis of the European Internet and ICT market, through the identification of potential companies to invest in, the assessment of their business model and team, the conduct of the due diligence, the deal structuring and negotiation, the active and operational follow-up of the portfolio companies until the exit strategy.

I joined Belgacom at the creation of their multimedia activities (Internet access, unified messaging, hosting, e-commerce, …) and have been a driving force in its development from a team of 4 people at the start to more than 400 people 3 years later. Once the division was up-and-running, my focus has been on managing the finance teams as well as the back and front office.
