Executive First Class Suites group, job duties using Unigraphics (NX7.5/NX5: sketcher and parametric features) to design suites per direction from customers and studio criteria. Worked in tandem with the people building the suite to address design concerns in the shop and also redesign existing products in a more cost efficient way.

Upper body Structure Group, job duties entailed creating study models for possible fixes to areas of concern after testing was completed and problems were found. Interior Group, job duties entailed working on plastic floor console parts to meet Studio requirements and also working along side Engineering and Tooling to design a completed part.

Convert files from Alias to Unigraphics (NX3) within TeamCenter and then releasing parts for all Engineering Teams. Primary responsibility for conversion and part release of Interior Automotive components including instrument panel, door trim, pillars, garnish, and trunk compartment. Work with engineering and design to ensure that parts are released on time. Additional task: Upkeep of Microsoft Access database of all files released into TeamCenter.

Hardware Repair, and updating school district's computers and Smart board install

Responsible for verifying the quality, fit and finish of Class-A surfaces (interior and exterior) by designers and engineers; utilizing my Unigraphics knowledge (NX2 & NX3). Implemented open communication between studio stylists, designers, and engineers and facilitated meetings. I fostered this collaborative environment while making recommendations for improvements regarding the Class-A surfaces. Reduced overhead by creating 3-D math to produce table top models to help verify fit and finishes before final product production. I was an intricate team member working on multiple concurrent projects, including working off site with Tier 1 supplier designers in order to meet release deadlines.

Designed driver and passenger H-pillar trim. I was responsible for the upkeep of typical sections of the instrument panel and console, using Unigraphics. Researched and benchmarked competitor products and conveyed all findings. I met all deadlines and contributed as a solid team member.

Created and edited the layout of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing on detail drawings and production assemblies utilizing my knowledge of Unigraphics CAD system. I successfully completed multiple General Motors training courses while maintaining a full work load and meeting deadlines. Designed end cap and routing of AC/Heating lines, details/drawings on multiple car lines. Worked with verifier on all drawings and entered change requests and change notices in the system and notified the engineer of these changes.
