Conceived and developed Sigmund Records, a music operation performing a comprehensive array of music industry activities, and the first student-operated university record label in South America. Currently, I direct all associated activities. More at www.sigmundrecords.com. Since 2013, Sigmund Records has produced and launched a variety of talented Brazilian artists in diverse musical genres. One highlight includes the Legends series, showcasing the musical evolution of commercially significant artists from southern Brazil.In December 2018 Sigmund Records launched Projeto Imigrantes, aimed at promoting intercultural relations by launching musical ambassadors. The project features artists from Haiti and Nigeria who have immigrated to Brazil. Activities included managing teams, developing music business strategy and supervising music service operations.

Lectured two research oriented courses during the spring term: International Music Culture and Anthropology of Food. Both courses introduced observation methods for cultural investigation. Students developed design sprint competencies as an approach to exploring discovery phase research and creative problem solving.Students engaged in fieldwork in several local neighborhoods and contexts. The resulting ethnographies described the maintenance of cultural identity within immigrant communities throughout NYC.

Thinktank helped companies innovate. We performed design-thinking oriented consumer research and applied design methods to meet business challenges and develop opportunity.
