Working in the e-commerce division on infrastructure/architecture issues. Currently working on Kubernetes/Docker migration. Successfully deployed into production LucidWorks/Solr search/data architecture. Implementation is now in use by tens of millions of customers. Successfully installed/monitored DynaTrace for test workgroups and working on a number of Chef automation for Hazelcast and Karaf. Right now working on deploying Hazelcast distributed applications/Karaf microservices. Wrote and deployed a mechanism for monitoring multiple apps/servers and announcing issues via chat/email/web. Also working on Python related Ansible scripts.

Working with strategic accounts as Sales Consultant which provides pre-sales technical and architectural knowledge to customers using Violin products or those architecting custom engineered systems.

As a sales consultant/solution architect, I was responsible with developing and enlarging the Oracle/Sun footprint at one of their largest customers, a large consumer-facing web commerce system on Oracle-based software and hardware solutions. While there I significantly enlarged the Oracle/Sun footprint and as well as increasing use of the Solaris at this account. The focus was on providing a solution-based architecture or simply solutions that would improve on the current solution.

I worked on a large system for mobile users. As a Systems Architect I was responsible for making sure that the system worked - this includes application servers, databases, web servers, physical servers, networking and software. Besides writing software and scripts to enable the system, I was also responsible for providing guidance and working with Mobile partners. I was also responsible for diagnosing Java-related issues on AT&T Addressbook application.

Contracted to do Java performance analysis. Worked on Java runtime performance on Windows Server 2003SP2 and 2008R2 platforms. Ran a series of benchmarks which demonstrated performance comparisons and tunables useful in increasing Java performance.

I was responsible for technical areas in the Internet Sales Region in the Pacific Northwest of the US. Responsible for numerous large Web 2.0 accounts. Focus includes both hardware and software - system consolidation, virtualization technologies, software development (including web 2.0 scripting languages), system sizing and more.Worked at Sun between 1989 to 2009 in a number of capacities - all of them technical. Technical Sales covering system architectures, Java technologies, virtualization and and software development.
