Charles is a partner in the audit group of Warren Averett, LLC. He has worked in public accounting since 1987. Charles started out as an intern with Arthur Young (now Ernst & Young) while attending the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He managed a successful accounting practice in Birmingham until the end of 2000, at which time he moved to Atlanta and joined Miller Ray Houser & Stewart, LLP. Charles is known for enabling the success of fast-growth companies in the retail, franchise and hospitality industry as well as the real estate industry. He also works with Hedge Funds. In fact, one of his previous retail clients was ranked the number one fastest growing company in 2012 by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. Charles takes a long view and builds client relationships to last. Today he still services clients that he nurtured 25 years ago when those businesses were in start-up mode. Specifically, he provides audit and business consulting services as well as fair-value and lease accounting. Charles attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
