• Started as Data Center Technician before being promoted to Data Center Supervisor.• Supervised and evaluated the performance of personnel performing both routine and emergency service, and performed annual reviews• Created the “Smart Hands” operational protocol, including: all forms, procedures, and documentation of incoming work from all teams across the global organization. This resulted in a 67% increase in ticket closures in the first year of implementation• Worked with senior management to develop/manage the Data Center Migration process. This was used for the migration of all equipment for almost 400 individual customers and thousands of pieces of equipment (live and redundant) between facilities in the company's California locations. Acted as Migration Project Manager during several phases of the migration• Enforced physical Data Center access policies and procedures, maintained access guidelines and procedures• Co-wrote and maintained on SharePoint, company documentation, MOP’s, and procedure libraries• Enforced that MOPs and procedures are utilized on all ticket activities and projects and ensured that facility problems were identified/repaired quickly and that customer demands were being met, and ticketing was properly closed out in a timely fashion• Installed, terminated, and tested cables: UTP, Coax, and Fiber media, circuit cross-connect jumpers, test carrier circuits to customer and telecom carriers in a 52,000 sq ft raised floor/overhead facility• Provided prompt response to customer trouble tickets requesting equipment attention as in hardware and software reboots, testing of circuits, and tape library change outs• Replaced hardware, including: SFP modules, memory, motherboards, NICs, batteries, disks, backplanes, fiber cards, power supplies, fans, and other assorted equipment• Administered/assisted with OS level administration and troubleshooting
