Worked as a Surveyor in Training with Enplan Group Consulting Engineers from 1975 to 2977. Learned the basics of land surveying.Practiced as a Solicitor and Advocate from 1987 to 1993. Handled Corporate, Land, Tort and Criminal matters. Legal Drafting and Corporate Practice were however strongest areas.Lectured in The Polytechnic, Calabar from 1993 to 2003. The courses taught during the period were Company Law, Business Law, Law of Contract and Law of Executorship and Bankruptcy.Lecturing Company Law, Business Law, Law of Contract and Law of Executorship and Bankruptcy in Cross River University of Technology from 1993 till date. Also, during this period worked with the Legal Unit of the Institution providing legal counsel when required and participated in conjunction with staff of the Ministry of Justice to draft the Institution's enabling law.Legal Adviser to CRUTECH Community Micro-Finance Bank Ltd from it's pre-incorporation in 1993 to date. Handling all matters relating to it's corporate status and structure including it's conversion from a Community to a Micro-Finance Bank.Currently establishing a fish farm which I hope to run upon retirement.Specialties: Legal Drafting and Conveyancing, Corporate Status/Structure Management and Updating.
