The Super Bowl XLVI interactive efforts were powered by a volunteer committee with representation from Indianapolis-based ChaCha, ExactTarget, Innovative, Bluefish Wireless and Raidious. Compendium, iGoDigital, and a host of local businesses, colleges and universities also participated in the committee led by Conrad Piccirillo (Innovative) and Scott Kraege (Bluefish Wireless).The committee's goal was to create the most connected Super Bowl in history and that goal was achieved by eclipsing every digital benchmark of previous Super Bowls. With over two million website visits in the 30 days leading up to Super Bowl, 37,500 fans following the committee on Twitter and Facebook, 23,000 subscribed to the committee's email newsletter, and thousands more engaging with sms text alerts, the Indianapolis Super Bowl Host Committee achieved a record-breaking level of connectivity.
