I am a partner in the Healthcare Practice Group and Litigation Department at White and Williams LLP. My practice consists primarily of the defense in medical malpractice cases of healthcare systems, hospitals, physician groups and clinics, doctors and other healthcare providers in a variety of specialties and environments throughout Pennsylvania. I also represent a major utility company in connection with various personal injury, engineering and product liability cases. My practice includes representation of insurance carriers (primary, excess and reinsurance). As I have practiced in numerous venues, state and Federal, throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for over 25 years, I am knowledgeable concerning the health care industry, utilities, and the insurance industry, as well as the needs of different types of diverse clients. I likewise have an understanding of juries, whether they be from rural, suburban or urban areas. I supplement this experience with preparation, diligence and zealous advocacy. In addition, my service and leadership roles in the Pennsylvania Bar Association, American Bar Association, various county bars, and other professional associations have allowed me to further improve and hone my professional, organizational and leadership skills. I recently served as President of the Pennsylvania Bar Association (2018-2019). I value the experience and relationships forged through the above endeavors, which have also allowed me to become a better and more well rounded lawyer.
