My work includes coordinating with in-country counterparts on MCC’s $458 million Zambia II Compact, which aims to enhance the nation's agriculture and agro-processing sectors, as well as the Proposed Tanzania Threshold Program. I also develop and maintain strategic relationships with U.S. government agencies, foreign governments, NGOs, and private sector actors to advance MCC's innovative development finance initiatives.

Equity Impact Investments (EII) Program, a $5.5 million grant aimed at fostering capacity building among Economic Development and Community Development Organizations2. Economic Recovery Corps (ERC), a $30 million cooperative agreement. This program's objective is to recruit and place over 65 trained fellows in economic development organizations throughout the United States3. Economic Development District (EDD) Community of Practice, an initiative designed to provide tools, resources, and networking opportunities for the more than 400 EDDs across the country

Provided advanced support with project administration and completed professional and administrative tasks related to supporting US Agency for International Development (USAID) projects implementation, as well as support proposal and new business development efforts. Among my primary responsibilities was backstopping the Tourism For All (TFA) project in Timor-Leste, which was an economic growth initiative with a value of $12.5 million. I also executed a short-term technical assignment in country by creating a detailed report for local tour operators on how to develop a successful tour product. Additionally, I supported the Efficient and Effective Justice Activity (EEJ) in Sri Lanka, a rule of law initiative with a budget of almost $15 million.

As part of the completion of my MSc, I worked with three fellow students on a consultancy project commissioned by AySA, the second largest provider of drinking water and sanitation (WASH) services in Latin America. The objective was to provide a guide on how to implement impact metrics for the evaluation of AySA's work in terms of social, economic, gender and environmental development.

My responsibilities included overseeing safety and quality assurance for more than 3,000 travelers annually. I played a pivotal role in establishing systems, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and policies necessary for the company's transition from a small to a medium-sized enterprise. I collaborated closely with company directors to make bold yet prudent strategic decisions, allowing us to meet our aggressive growth targets while remaining aligned with the company's core values and mission. Under my supervision, the company’s portfolio expanded further into India, South Korea, and Indonesia.

In addition to these responsibilities, I orchestrated and successfully executed The Dragon Trip's inaugural guide training orientation weekend, a significant milestone for the company. This role also required me to meticulously manage detailed accounting of all trip expenses, ensuring financial transparency and accountability.As a vital point of contact for more than 650 travelers, I served as the direct line of communication, handling inquiries, feedback, complaints, and emergency situations with a high level of responsiveness and professionalism. Furthermore, I took the initiative to establish and enforce company policies, contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of The Dragon Trip's services while maintaining quality and compliance standards.

This initiative highlighted my research and presentation skills, as well as my ability to develop and articulate innovative solutions for enhancing community well-being.
