I also used Python to improve forecasting of phase review data to provide better understanding of how the KeyedIN system is being used. Increased automation of visuals by using creative solutions. Reduced the time taken to create one dot matrix visual by over 1000% and improved its accuracy by 8%.Collaborated with key stakeholders (project managers and portfolio manager) presenting findings to the team and suggesting improvements whilst ensuring alignment with their needs. Identified and corrected data entry errors by meeting with Project Managers, leading to the implementation of a more efficient data entry system. Explored implementing a PowerApp to compliment the PowerBI dashboard to improve the identification and visualisation of key issues raised by project managers. Engaged with various departments including Strategy, Data Engineering, Government Affairs, Project & Portfolio Management, Procurement, Account Development, and Scientific Research, to learn more about the role of the company in Britain's science and innovation sector and to gain insights into the future of this industry. Thanks to Integrated Learning Experiences (INLEX) I was able to gain work experience at a coffee farm; Finca La Azotea in Antigua, Guatemala. The main things I did there were: Firstly, I decided to do this to gain first-hand experience of agricultural practices outside of Europe and gain a deeper understanding of food processing – from farm to cup. I was able to observe and engage in multiple areas across the farm and follow the process of coffee from a small plant being grafted to a cup of coffee. I was also able to learn about the responsible use of agrochemicals in Rainforest Alliance certified farms. I was able to partake in various seminars and meetings discussing ways to mitigate the effects of climate change on the farm, the local community and local small businesses. Furthermore, I had the opportunity to partake in the https://lnkd.in/eccbRiKi program. This program aims to empower youths affected by gang violence in the local community by connecting them with nature and providing educational and employment opportunities. Finally, I gave tours of the farm and museum to up to 40 tourists at a time in English, German and eventually Spanish. This helped me improve my Spanish, public speaking and presentation skills as well as strengthening my understanding of coffee and agriculture in Guatemala. Show less
