Possible summary:As a Housing Finance Specialist III at Louisiana Housing Corporation (LHC), I work in the Performance Based Contract Administration department (PBCA), where I ensure tenants are provided decent, safe, and sanitary housing through LHC’s Contract Administration and Compliance departments for Multi-family properties across the State of Louisiana.I studied Business Administration at Nicholls State University, and I have acquired multiple certifications from the National Center for Housing Management, including Certified Occupancy Specialist, Fair Housing Specialist, and Management and Occupancy Review Specialist (MORS).I have the pleasure of working with owners, management agencies, and Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to report on performance standards, using HUD regulations to operate effectively for all parties. I also perform quality control duties, such as reporting monthly and/or annually to HUD for all of our department's contracted services.I enjoy my work as a public servant and focus on keeping the residents of Louisiana as my top priority for their right to fair and equal housing. Working in housing has given me a purpose in life and I intend to continue serving the public for the remainder of my career.
