Ever since I was a child, sports have been an extremely important aspect of my life. I believe that the skills and traits required to excel in athletics have been deeply incorporated into my growth and development. I am a very determined individual, if I am not able to complete a task to a high standard of satisfaction, then I will focus on improving my skills in that area until it becomes consistent and natural. I have also always been a leader. Throughout my career as a hockey player, I have always been in a leadership role. I want to motivate my teammates by the way that I not only perform in high pressure situations, but also practice. I pride myself by being the hardest worker, even though I have never been the most skilled. During the summer I can recall countless days of practicing my golf game, until it is too dark to see the golf ball anymore. I believe that these skills and characteristics will be assets to me in the professional world. The most successful management professionals are leaders by example, they never slack off, and in return their employees work harder. I will always push people to complete tasks to the best of their ability, and support them in order to help them reach their goals.
